Day 1
Squamish to Williams Lake: This ride takes us along the Sea to Sky Highway and through the world-famous mountain community of Whistler. Enjoy the spectacular scenery as we ride the Duffey Lake Road towards Lillooet and a stop for lunch at the Fort Berens winery. From there we’ll continue our ride north to Williams Lake. Overnight in Williams Lake.
Day 2
Williams Lake to Prince George with a detour towards Bella Coola:
We start the day riding the epic Highway 20, as we follow this epic road towards Bella Coola. We’ll choose a time around 12 noon as we head back toward Williams Lake and head north towards Prince George, with a leisurely stop for lunch in the town of Quesnel Overnight in Prince George with a group dinner at one of the micro-breweries.
Day 3
Prince George to Smithers.
With an early start to the day, we start to see our first glimpse of the Coast Mountains as we head towards the beautiful town of Smithers. Dinner at one of the locals' favorites and a chance to explore one of the micro-breweries.
Day 4
Smithers to Terrace
Ride west towards Hazelton and New Hazelton with the option for a gravel only route as we head west towards the town of Terrace. Overnight in Terrace.
Day 5
Terrace to Gingolx
We wake early to head north into the Nass Valley and the home of the Nisga'a people. This incredible part of Canada makes up a land mass of 2000 square km (770 sq. mi.) and was the first treaty to be signed in Canada. As we pass through the volcanic lava fields there is plenty of opportunity for discovery with hiking, hot-springs, and the Nisga'a museum. We'll stay overnight in Gingolx with a group seafood dinner in the evening.
Day 6
Gingolx to Kitimat
We’ll take our time as we head south again and ride towards Kitimat. A quick check in at our hotel before we head out on an evening tour along a gravel road in search of wildlife viewing opportunities with a local guide.
Day 7
Kitimat to Prince Rupert
Leisurely start to the day as we push north and then west toward Prince Rupert. The road from Terrace to Prince Rupert is legendary with some of the most spectacular views of the trip. We'll arrive at our most westerly destination of Prince Rupert in time to check into our hotel with the evening free to wander around and choose a spot for dinner.
Day 8
Day off in Prince Rupert - wildlife watching
We are free to explore Prince Rupert depending on your trip date you can book optional Whale Watching and Grizzly bear watching tours.
Day 9
The Inside Passage via the ferry to Port Hardy
Two words 5am wake up as we head to the ferry terminal to catch our 665 km 15-hour cruise down the inside passage towards the northern tip of Vancouver Island. We depart the ferry at 11.30pm at night just in time to check into our hotel.
Day 10
Port Hardy to Campbell River
With a 10am start we ride south towards the waterfront town of Telegraph Cove. Lunch in Telegraph Cove before we head to Campbell River.
Day 11
Campbell River to Nanaimo
We head south towards the Nanaimo ferry terminal following the OLD ISLAND HIGHWAY as we ride through the quaint little towns and choose a waterfront lunch spot along the way. Boarding one of the afternoon ferries we head over to the mainland and head up to Squamish to finish our 4000 km circle route.
